Dental Assistant / Reception

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
  • Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist dentists during clinical procedures while maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient treatment environment.
  • Prepare and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and process payments and administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth day-to-day practice operations.
  • Support patients by explaining procedures, post-treatment care, and appointment scheduling.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Receptionist, or in a similar dental practice role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of dental software and appointment management systems is an advantage.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and infection control.
  • Willingness to work flexible weekdays and/or weekends as required.
